Microsoft launches trainee program in India

BANGALORE:Microsoft India has introduced a new advanced training program for computer science Engineering students in India. Designed for B.E students to bridge the gap between the academic and corporate world, the new program offers in-depth technical training, mentoring, and on the job experience based out of the Microsoft Global Technical Support Center (GTSC) in Bangalore. A company release said the GTSC Trainee Program helps students for the global MACH (Microsoft Academy for College Hires) program. MACH has been created within the sales, marketing and services group at Microsoft to accelerate career development for talented college hires around the world. "We are pleased to announce the roll out of our Trainee Program for 2005 in Bangalore," said MD of the Asia-Pacific customer service and support organization at Microsoft Manish Sinha. "This program gives students in the region the resources and tools they need to scale their skills and gain real-world experience," he added.
