Micro Tech files patent in 123 countries

MUMBAI: Security software systems maker Micro Technologies India Ltd today said that its product Micro VBB (Vehicle Black Box) has received the acceptance for Patent from the Indian Patent office.
The VBB features a vehicle life support and security system that runs on SMS or Internet. The company said it has also filed for a PCT (patent cooperation treaty) international treaty for VBB taking the priority of the Indian patent application filed.
International bureau of WIPO Switzerland has conveyed its acceptance of the company's International Application for the International Patent in 123 countries including U.S.for the same.
The company has tied up various telecom service providers for national and global tie-up to promote the product. Once installed, the users can control their vehicle from anywhere by messaging from their handheld devices to Micro VBB through SMS, voice call or e-mail.
