Micro Focus makes peak load tests easier with Cloudburst

Bangalore: Nowadays, businesses are so heavily dependent on software applications that at times the whole success of a project depends on them. Consequently, these applications have to undergo a lot of strain. Evidently then, they may constrain their performance when you need the most and that is the last thing you would want. To meet the peak demand load testing requirements, Micro Focus has launched the SilkPerformer Cloudburst, which takes testing to the cloud.
Based on Micro Focus Enterprise Cloud Service (ECS), CloudBurst expands Micro Focus' load and performance testing solution SilkPerformer out to the cloud. Testing organizations can now run large load tests and promptly detect and resolve discovered issues, thanks to CloudBurst.
The testing product comes with advantages galore. CloudBurst is able to provide extensive tests ranging anywhere from one to 250,000 users at a time. It can be set up on any network. Speaking about CloudBurst, Becky Wetherill, EMEA QA Architect, Micro Focus said, "CloudBurst provides flexibility in terms of licensing, viability and pricing."
Unlike traditional load testing methods, CloudBurst makes use of the cloud effectively to meet resource demands using a flexible, pay-as-you-go, consumption-based pricing model.
