What she does at Apple:

Window Snyder helps Apple to work more closely with its security scientists. She came into the spotlight when she led her team at the Black Hat security conference last summer.

Background:

Before Apple, Snyder worked three years at Microsoft as a senior security strategist, and prior to that, two and a half years at Mozilla. She was also a founding member of security consulting firm @stake, which Symantec acquired in 2004 for $49 million.

Jacques Vidrine, Senior Manager of OS Security

What he does at Apple:

Since his joining at Apple, Vidrine was quick at slashing through the ranks in the company. He became a famous face when Apple filed a lawsuit against Mac clone maker Psystar, which Apple won in a 2009 court ruling.

Background:

Prior to Apple, Vidrine was a security officer with the FreeBSD Project, and before that he was the director of systems security at Verio from 2000 to 2005.
