Linux offered on Microsoft's Azure

It was a really well worked strategy as for quite a while Microsoft have been working on the drivers to make them compatible with Linux, especially on their Hyper-V Windows version. Wade Wegner, chief technology officer for Aditi Technologies, a technology services company and Microsoft partner said "The cloud provides a way to make it easier to connect all of these different platforms and technologies, and my take is that Microsoft is trying to make Windows Azure the best and simplest place to run your applications regardless of the platform or technology."

Microsoft also has announced that the pricing of the Linux distribution will be finalized later but still users can import there Linux projects via Microsoft's Virtual Hard Disk (VHD). Azure also has confirmed that they now are the proud supporters of Python, Java, Node.js and PHP.
