Lenovo launches the ultraportable U300s

Bangalore: Lenovo India launches its new luxury series, "IdeaPad U300s". Built in collaboration with Intel, the company promises both value and style equally. It has a 13.3 inch ultra-slim widescreen HD display and a 4GB DDR3 memory with a 128 GB SSD storage. It features an Intel i5 processor with Intel turbo boost technology 2.0.
The thickness is 0.6 inches (14.9mm) and weighs less than three pounds. The keyboard comes with an Advanced Cooling Technology from Intel that allows air to flow in through the keyboard and out of the sides and rear hinge. The life of the battery is up to 8 hours of productive use and almost 30 days of standby time. The battery can be charged to 50 percent in 30 minutes. It includes Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi, USB 3.0(x1) and USB 2.0(x1) connectors and an integrated 1.3 megapixel (720p HD) webcam.
