LG G-Slate Android 3.0 Tablet displays 3D Capabilities


Bangalore: The Honeycomb run G-Slate tablet from LG seems to be confirming its 3D abilities. After tons of rumors going round the market, the 3D capabilities of the tablet has been shown in a recently released Korean music video. The video by pop-star Seungri shows dual cameras at the back of G-Slate which is required for 3D shooting. It also shows a front camera, an HDMI port and micro USB port along with a stand. The video provides a clear view of the device after a teaser video of the tablet was shown at CES 2011. The G-Slate has an 8.9 inch touch screen and a resolution of 1280x720. It will run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. The LG G-Slate which has been powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 2 is likely to be available in the U.S. market by February at an approximate cost of $400 with a carrier subsidy from T-Mobile.The tablet has been designed to work on T- Mobile's HSDPA and 4G network.
