Bangalore: An online food order and table reservation website, JustEat.in provides the facility of placing the order or booking a table, online or over phone. With its unique JCT (Just Connect Terminal), it gives the customer a privilege of receiving the order in a lesser time frame. Placing an order through JustEat.In is just a click away. The JCT technology is a unique GPS machine, which is installed at JustEat.in call centers, and all the restaurants registered under them and works on the Bluetooth technology. As soon as a consumer places the order, it is received in the GPS machine by the Customer Care personnels. The order is then instantly sent to the concerned restaurant in fraction of seconds. As soon as the restaurant receives the order, they respond back to JustEat about the acceptance or rejection of order. In traditional method used by other portals, this process takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, but JustEat's technology takes as much as two minutes, thus reducing the time consumed in the entire process of placing the order. After checking the order, the concerned people in the restaurant click accept or reject button in the machine to confirm the order. The status of the order is conveyed to the consumer through mail or SMS. But if the order is rejected, they help the consumer to search for another option. "Placing the order is a very tiring task as you have to keep on calling until the customer care personnel picks your call and takes the order. You continuously have to keep repeating the order and take the pain of making them understand your location. However, all such problems are miles away from us. You just have to go to our site and click the button on the selected items of your order with other details. The GPS machine does the rest," says Ritesh Dwivedy, Founder and CEO, JustEat.in. Established in 2006 as HungryZone by a group of IITians, with just 15 restaurants on board, today they have now more than 750 restaurants and more than one million registered users under their umbrella. They collaborated with JustEat.in in January 2011 and are now know by this name. "Food is one of the primary elements of life. Lack of customer satisfaction provided by the online food ordering portals inspired me to enter this field. The key challenge for us is to provide food on time unlike other portals that do not have any such time frame and JCT technology helps us to over this challenge by intelligently reducing the time taken to confirm the order," says Dwivedy. They have started two new branches in Mumbai and Delhi in the month of March this year, and have plans to take the number to 20 by next year. With just 35 members in the diary, they handle up to 10,000 orders every month. "Plans are there to provide online payment facility instead of payment on delivery. Pipelined to this is to start mobile apps to make JustEat.in available at the touch of the finger whenever and wherever needed. We are looking forward to provide more convenience and satisfaction to our consumer in the future," says Dwivedy.
