London: Troubled designer John Galliano is reportedly been considered for renowned women's retailer ''Topshop''. Galliano, 50, who was fired by Christian Dior for his anti-semitic rants in March, is likely to be associated with the British chain for the creation of a new women range, reported Femalefirst. While nothing has been finalised yet, the chain''s owner Philip Green and Galliano is said to be keen on the collaboration. If the deal does come off, it will mark a huge turn around for Galliano, who has been in rehab since his arrest in February. After being sacked form Dior he was replaced at his own eponymous label by Bill Gaytten. But the designer had received universal praise for the wedding dress he created for close friend and supermodel Kate Moss, when she married rocker Jamie Hince last week. Galliano, who appeared in a Paris court last month, blamed his recent outbursts on his addiction to alcohol, sleeping tablets and valium. "One obvious thing is that John Galliano was ill. He had a triple addiction to alcohol, benzodiazepine (valium) and sleeping pills," said his lawyer Aurelian Hamelle.
