Jataayu Software launches jSync DM

BANGALORE:Jataayu Software (P) Ltd today announced the launch of their jSync DM client, an open standards based SyncML DM client for feature phones, Smartphones and other popular PDA platforms.
The SyncML Device Management specifications enable mobile users or operators/enterprises to remotely manage, provision, troubleshoot and update mobile and wireless devices. The Jataayu jSync DM client provides device manufacturers and reference design vendors with a solution that they can easily integrate into their device portfolio. The jSync DM solution offers a robust, standards-compliant client that conforms to the SyncML DM standards as specified by the OMA- Open Mobile Alliance TM.

It is increasingly imperative that mobile users are able to configure their handsets for newer services easily. Jataayus jSync DM client solution eliminates the need for subscribers to manage service settings thereby opening the way for rapid service take off. The Sync DM solution is a logical extension to our Industry leading terminal side products that include the WAP browser, MMS Client and IMPS Client and server side products that include WAP gateways, MMSC, SMS gateways, OTA servers and bulk messaging solutions.
Explaining the technical benefits of the jSync DM Client, Arun Tanksali, Director, Technical, Jataayu Software, commented, The Jataayu jSync DM Client is fully compliant with version 1.1.2 of the SyncML DM specification with support for key device management features including firmware updates, device info, device details as well as upload and download of ringtones, multimedia content, wallpapers, applications and phone settings. It enables operators and enterprises to query and provide remote customer care and fault management services. Device manufacturers and reference design vendors could use our existing product suite that includes the WAP browser, MMS Client and IMPS Client for tighter integration and consistent MMI behavior to have the lowest memory footprint on their devices.
