Intelenet launches new facility in Chennai

Mumbai: Intelenet Global Services, an HDFC-Barclays joint venture recently inaugurated its new delivery center at Prince Info Park in Chennai. This center is Intelenet Global Services’ second new center in Chennai in the last 6 months thus increasing Intelenet’s capacity in the city to 1750 seats. The 72,500 square feet facility has a capacity to house 1050 seats. It will offer a mix of customer service, back-office operations and accounting services and is designed to provide a wide range of facilities to the employees, ensuring a world-class working environment. Intelenet Global Services had unveiled a 700-seater center at Ascendas in May early this year. The company expects to grow its current head count of 1100 people in Chennai to more than 2500 employees by end of next year. Reiterating the expansion plans in Chennai, Susir Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Intelenet Global Services said, “Intelenet has aggressive growth plans and the new Chennai facility will enable us to accommodate this high pace of growth.” With 12 state-of-the-art service delivery centers in India, and over 40 in Europe and Latin America, Intelenet Global Services, the company is all set to strengthen its operations with its new initiative.
