Intel names Sodhani president of Intel Capital

SANTA CLARA, CA:Intel Corp. has appointed Arvind Sodhani president of Intel Capital. He will replace John H.F. Miner, who resigned recently. Sodhani, 51, joined Intel in Europe in 1981, and became assistant treasurer in 1984 and treasurer in 1988. He received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan in 1978. The Board of Directors elected Sodhani vice president in May 1990. As senior vice president and treasurer, Sodhani is responsible for treasury, corporate credit, mergers & acquisitions, post contracts management and risk management. Sodhani has been a member of the NASDAQ Board of Directors since 1997. He is a member of the Executive Committee, the Compensation Committee and acts as Chairman of the NASDAQ Finance Committee.
