Bangalore: With the market being flooded with an array of insurance policies, a recently launched multi-lingual retail portal InsuringIndia.Com offers customers help in comparing varied products and picking up the right one.

The website showcases a variety of insurance products available in the market and helps customers compare pricing.

"InsuringIndia.Com empowers consumers with education, information and details in the language of their choice. We help customers make an informed decision by simplifying their search process when looking for insurance," InsuringIndia.Com Director Bhavesh Sharma said.

The online portal would provide information in 10 languages-- English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.

The website would also help policyholders manage their insurance policies as they would get e-mail and SMS alerts reminding them on premium payments.

"Insurance in India is a flourishing industry. Our endeavour is to make insurance buying procedure transparent for consumers and offer them quality services," said Anumod Sharma, promoter of InsuringIndia.Com.

The website's back-end is managed by an IRDA-licenced insurance broking outfit that supports the comparison engine across term insurance, health insurance, home insurance, motor, child plans and pension needs serviced by insurers
