Infosys mulls bonus issue

MUMBAI: The board of Infosys Technologies Ltd, India's second-largest software services exporter, will consider issuing bonus shares at its meeting on April 14, the company said.

After the announcement, the value of its scrip rose to 52 week high of 3,400 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. However at the NASDAQ, Infosys closed 1.5 percent lower at $75.45 Thursday.

The company will also announce its January-March quarterly results on the same day, the company informed the Bombay stock Exchange.
