SINGAPORE: India’s second largest software services company, Infosys Technologies, today said it might revise this year's forecasts as the rupee falls against the dollar. “Our forecast is based on the constant rupee-dollar rate and we will revise the forecast at the end of this quarter, looking at the dollar rate at that point of time,'' T.V. Mohandas Pai, chief financial officer said. Infosys is hoping to gain more revenue as the rupee weakens against the dollar. Infosys gets over 60 percent of its sales from the U.S. The rupee has fallen 1.2 percent since June 30, the highest quarterly decline over the past year. “We should see some action in the rupee-either the rupee will remain stable or go down,'' Pai said.
