Indo Fuji opens 100% subsidiary in UK

BANGALORE: Middle-ware application and system software company Indo-Fuji Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd., today announced the opening of its wholly owned subsidiary Indo Fuji Europe Ltd., in Cardiff, United Kingdom. The UK office will have a headcount of 5 technical and marketing professionals initially and would be ramped up to 20 professionals by the end of the next fiscal.

The subsidiary would facilitate Indo Fuji to service Japanese clients having their presence in the UK and provide embedded software solutions to the automobile sector in UK initially and extend their whole range of software services to the European region. Cardiff was chosen as the location keeping in mind the concentration of automobile companies in this region of UK.

K.G. Suresh, Managing Director & CEO, Indo Fuji, said, "The European IT market is estimated at $ 500 billion, Indo Fuji with its presence in UK would be looking at capitalizing on this opportunity. We are targeting at $ 15 to 20 million revenues from our UK operations by the end of the next fiscal. We would continue keep in line with our strategy of providing our services to Japanese customers around the world and our UK office is another step in that direction."

Dinavahi, General Manager, Corporate Planning & Business Development, Indo Fuji, said, "Many Japanese companies have their presence in UK and we hope to tap this potential with our presence in this region. Another big opportunity is in the embedded technology space, and Indo Fuji would be looking at providing these services to customers in UK initially and broaden our reach to other European countries as the need arises."
