Bangalore: Indian women rank first for being most optimistic when compared to the women in the developed countries. Despite of stress, women splatter their wealth on their luxurious life, world tours, cosmetics, gadgets and electrical appliances and have greater command over their lives says a survey. The survey was taken around 21 developed and developing countries. Surveys of 6500 women were taken. When it comes to opportunities of growth, financial aspects and educating their daughters they have broad thoughts. Indian women make sensible and proper decisions about day to day life. The marketers have to concentrate on the attitude of women. 58 percent of women (daughters) said they have more chances to reduce their stress when compared to their mothers. 78 percent of the Indian mothers feel their daughters will acquire more opportunities than them. Indian women involve themselves in cosmetics, healthcare and beauty more revealed the three fourth of the survey. Saving their child's education was of prior importance to them. Women in India hope for the best future for their daughters in term of monetary and opportunities which differ from women of developed nations who have their power to choose the kind of freedom they aspire for. 51 percent of Indian women watch television for gathering knowledge about the products, where as it is 40 percent is the global percentage. 77 percent of Indian women have a conception that their daughters will have a greater access to technologies. Indian women are being gradually influenced by technologies like internet and gadgets though the traditional media influence still exist. Women empowerment has leaded to greater stress says the survey. 87 percent of Indian women said at times they felt a lot of pressure. All time stressed out women were around 64 percent. In developed nations handling the responsibilities and pressures is a big challenge. Their expectation to fulfill their task leads to stress.
