3. Ajay Banga:
Ajay Singh Banga is the current President and CEO of MasterCard. Banga was born in Sikh family in Khadki outside Pune. He went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University and is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Beginning his business career with Nestle, Banga spent the next 13 years in a variety of assignments spanning sales, marketing, and general management. He later joined Pepsico and was instrumental in the launch of its international fast food franchises in India. Prior to joining MasterCard, Banga spent 13 years at Citigroup from and held a variety of senior management roles in the United States and Europe. Banga is been paid around $2.15 million in salary and other allowances every year, with a one time benefit totaling about $15.9 million including a sign-on bonus of about $4.2 million. 4. Rakesh Kapoor:
The India-born Kapoor has been named global CEO by UK-based Reckitt Benckiser (RB). The alumnus of Delhi's Modern School, BITS Pilani and XLRI, Rakesh Kapoor worked with Reckitt Benckiser Groups for 25 years in India, the UK and northern Europe. An MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, Rakesh Kapoor played a key role in helping the group acquire Boots Healthcare International, SSL International Plc and India's Paras Pharmaceuticals.
