Indian body joins Florida Chamber of Commerce

WASHINGTON: An Indian body has joined the Association of Binational Chambers of Commerce in Florida. The India-US Chamber of Commerce has now representation in the umbrella organisation, which has a membership of 40 countries that do business in South Florida. India's main exports to the US are gems and jewellery, readymade garments, cotton and fabric, yams, handicrafts, cereals, marine products and transport equipment. Its imports include crude oil and oil products, chemicals, machinery, fertilisers, iron, steel, pearls and semi-precious and precious stones.
