Indian American Aney Paul wins Legislative District 14 Primary in NY

Fremont: A prominent leader in Indian community, Aney Paul an Indian-American of Nanuet won the democratic primary against Spring Valley's Hank Stewart. She emerged victorious with 239 votes. For the 24 years she has lived in Nanuet. She is a nurse at Nyack hospital, president of the New City Library Board and also member of the Nanuet Rotary club and Nanuet Lions club. It was in the year 1983 that she shifted to U.S. from New Delhi, India. Aney Paul also is the recipient of many Community Service Awards. In the year 2006 she won the Women in Leadership Award from Nyack Center, Rockland County, NY, 2002 Outstanding Achievement Award from State Senator Thomas P. Morahan and many more. She is Nurse, educator, and a community leader. She is a new voice to the citizens of Clarks town.
