India to support Caribbean community

NEW DELHI:India has provided project assistance of $1.3 million to computerize the Caribbean Community's secretariat; Minister of State for External Affairs Rao Inderjit Singh said.
Singh announced government-to-government lines of credit to the member countries of the Caribbean Community, besides India's intention to become a member of a development bank promoted by the grouping.
He also visited some projects being executed by Indian companies like Larsen and Toubro, Kirloskars and Bharat Earth Movers Ltd.
