KANYAKUMARI: IndiaÂ’s first wax museum has lined up national and regional celebrities in Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. The museum features wax models of the State Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi and Tamil movie star Rajinikanth among other celebrities. "I would like to get a hug from Mata Amritanandamayi. She looks so natural," said a visitor. Each of the models in the private museum costs around Rs 2 lakh and has taken seven years to achieve the level of life like perfection. Enthused with the public response the museum will soon have models of many contemporary personalities including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and DMK leader M Karunanidhi. The museum will be a rare platform where archrivals in politics Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi are likely to be seen together.
