InMage Systems opens India Development Center

HYDERABAD: Santa Clara, CA based InMage Systems Inc. a data continuity services company; today inaugurated its product development center in Hyderabad. InMage’s India operations are an integral part of the current design team and will be jointly responsible for developing existing and future products. The center will also provide customer support for the rapidly growing Data Continuity market in the region.

“There is a huge worldwide data continuity opportunity, especially to handle the needs of medium sized businesses. Innovation to solve customer problems has been the focus of InMage’s technology from inception. Iam very excited at our ever increasing acceptance Hyderabad center becoming a valuable part of the InMage family,”said Kumar Malavalli, Chairman and CEO of InMage Systems.

Data Continuity, simply put, covers all-important aspects of business continuity that refer to the protection and management of data. With patent-pending technology, InMage is the first to provide an affordable data continuity vision that covers the gamut of remote replication, continuous backup and continuous data protection, recovery management and information tiering. InMage’s first product DR-ScoutTM provides a unique “hybrid” approach for the remote replication and disaster recovery of structured and unstructured data and has been deployed by several leading enterprise class customers.

“The India development center is a key part of our world class integrated global engineering team and will share full responsibilities for developing and deploying cutting edge data continuity products. The India team already has several decades of experience in the storage domain, and is looking to add further engineering talent in a highly selective fashion” Said, VP Engineering & CTO Rajeev Atluri.

InMage was co-founded in late 2001 by Kumar Malavalli, co-founder, Brocade Communications and other industry veterans including President & COO Anup Tirumala, VP Engineering & CTO Rajeev Atluri and VP Business Development & Sales Srihari Kumar.
