Los Angeles : Some guests at the Beverly Hills hotel where iconic singer Whitney Houston was found dead have reportedly asked for a refund.

Houston's body was discovered at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel room Feb 11.

Those who were staying on the same floor as the late singer claim law enforcement and medical officials kept coming on the floor, while security asked guests for their key cards to check they were legitimately staying there and the commotion caused them extreme inconvenience.

According to a media report, several guests asked for refunds or discounts, but the Beverly Hilton has allegedly not granted the requests and has asked guests to file official complaints online or at the hotel's reception desk.

"Given the extraordinary nature of the events of last Saturday evening, The Beverly Hilton took every precaution to protect the privacy of the Houston Family as well as the hotel guests who may have been impacted by the incident," tmz.com quoted a hotel spokesperson as saying.

"The hotel cooperated fully with the Beverly Hills police which included securing the fourth floor to insure the safety and well-being of all guests. (The hotel) regrets any inconvenience that may have occurred in the immediate aftermath of Saturday's events," the source added.

The singer was laid to rest next to the body of her father John Russell Houston Jr. at the Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey Saturday.
