Happy Birthday Google!

Google Home page invites you with a nice interactive doodle on this occasion; it’s a piñata game. The game has a fancy container that is filled with goodies which has to be hit by a blindfolded person to get the contents. The game is particularly popular in Mexico.

The blindfolded, second 'G' alphabet holds a stick with which you have to hit the piñata when it comes close, to try and extract the maximum number of candies in ten limited hits. Press the space bar or click the mouse to hit piñata, checks how many candies you can get. You can even share the score on Google+.

To mark its turning 15, the search giant has also announced an updated search algorithm called Hummingbird. Though the algorithm was rolled out a month back, Google was waiting for the right moment to reveal its updated search.  Humming bird aims at making Google search better at answering long, complicated queries. The company has also introduced comparison filters, improved exploration for songs and revamped mobile apps for search.
