HP names Naresh Shah as VP of engineering

Bangalore: HP today announced it has appointed Naresh Shah as Vice-President of Engineering, Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking (ESSN). He will take charge with immediate effect. In this newly created position, Shah would be responsible for product collaboration across all ESSN business units in India, the company said in a statement. Shah joins HP from Novell, where he served as Managing Director of Novell's India Development Centre (IDC) and Vice President of Global Engineering Strategy, responsible for overall product development activities. Prior to joining Novell, he spent more than 20 years at AT&T and Lucent Technologies, where he held various management positions in engineering, product management and sales, it was stated.
