HCL, SANAKO to improve education in India

New Delhi: HCL Infosystems, a hardware, services and ICT system integration company has announced the signing of a strategic business deal with SANAKO, a global education technology company developing language teaching solutions. The partnership will mean providing technology solutions in education, specifically language learning, to develop excellence in Indian education. SANAKO's Executive Vice President, Juha Merinen said, "The strategic partnership with HCL will bring teaching in India into the rapidly evolving modern era of learning. We are delighted to announce this long-term strategic partnership with HCL Infosystems, which we believe heralds a new era of best-in-class solutions for educators and students in India. Our offering combined with HCL solutions will facilitate development of a 1:1 learning infrastructure to enhance personalized learning and to improve measurable learning outcomes." Inked at the 'Technology Summit and Technology Platform Conference' in New Delhi, this long-term strategic agreement is part of the India-Finland Technology Partnership Forum. With this agreement the companies aim to provide customers with comprehensive integrated pedagogical teaching solutions that include learning technology, relevant content and localized customer-oriented services. On this occasion, SANAKO also announced the inauguration of its India regional office in New Delhi, which will support the implementation of SANAKO strategy in India. With extensive joint expertise in serving the educational sector, SANAKO and HCL will collaborate to provide innovative and localized solutions that improve managed internet-era learning outcomes in the classroom, as well as across campuses and schools.
