HYDERABAD:The worldÂ’s most sought after search engine, Google continues to recruit rapidly in India taking advantage of the countryÂ’s talented IT professionals. In India, Google plans to expand both its engineering services team based out of its Bangalore operations and AdWords team in Hyderabad. The latter offers global support-cum-development work for its online advertisement-driven services. The Chief Financial Officer of Google, George Reyes, said that the company has brought in its work culture to the Indian operations, where innovation continues to be its driving business theme. "Google has emerged as the largest search engine hosting about 8 billion documents, URLs and other content. We continue to acquire as much content we can possibly and grow the size of the index," Reyes said. "AdWords is Google's core product search service. This is currently available in 41 languages as opposed to over 100 language-search interfaces. This offers advertisers flexibility in providing performance-based ad themes. Though we do not have region-wise break-up, India could offer great scope," David Fischer, director of AdWords said.
