Global Edge girds up for its next phase of growth

Bangalore: Global Edge Software, embedded software solutions provider for the global communication, automotive and consumer electronics industries , is positioning itself as a natural partner to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) companies by providing holistic, end to end product realization capability in selected industry segments.

Commenting on the Company's growth plans, M.P.Kumar, Chairman and CEO, GlobalEdge said "Our strategy is to take GlobalEdge to its next phase of growth by positioning it as a high value player - a Product Realization Partner to leading OEMs and EMS players in the Wireless and Communications space." He further added that the company's top priority over the next six months would be to establish the right partnerships and acquire additional customers who can greatly benefit from the company's transformation".

Accentuating the growth plans, Sarbpreet Singh, former Senior Vice President and General Manager, Infrastructure Products and Services at Flextronics International, has joined GlobalEdge as President and COO. The senior leadership team has been further strengthened by bringing on additional proven talent in key functional areas such as operations, delivery, sales and marketing.

"With our top notch talent, the strategic initiatives being planned and our strong execution focus, we are well positioned to become a leading player in the embedded solutions space" added Kumar.

On the sales front, GlobalEdge's plans include opening new offices and augmenting its channel partners hence new channel partnerships are being put in place. The company now has two offices in US - at Santa Clara and Boston and is planning to open an office in Europe.
