MUMBAI: Taiwan based Gigabyte Technology Co Ltd will launch an entire range of computer peripherals like laptop computers, LCD monitor, and allied products. The $1 billion hardware company from Taipei has tied up with Mumbai based D-Link to sell its products here. The company has already launched its motherboards, graphic cards and optical disk drives in India. "We aim to capture a significant market share in the new products categories in the next three years. The Indian market is growing at a tremendous pace and we see it as a major focus for Gigabyte," Mitchell Liu, Vice-Chairman, said. D-Link, which holds a majority stake in the joint venture company, Gigabyte Technology India Ltd, will continue to manufacture the Gigabyte motherboards. "The Indian market for notebooks alone is expected to grow at over 100 per cent year-on-year for the next three years," said K.R. Naik, Managing Director of D-Link.
