Bangalore: Micro Focus, provider of enterprise application modernization, testing and management solutions, has been positioned by Gartner in the leaders' quadrant of the 'Integrated Software Quality Suites Magic Quadrant report'.
"Testing software can be an expensive process, but poor software quality leads to user dissatisfaction, as well as increased development and maintenance. Therefore, having a well-defined set of tools and practices to drive software quality will positively affect the overall business bottom line. The market leaders have broad portfolios covering all aspects of software quality and match this with a global presence and significant shares," says Tom Murphy, Research Director, Gartner.
Micro Focus CEO, Nigel Clifford, added, "In our opinion, to be positioned as a leader in the software quality space by Gartner is a testament to the successful integration of the Borland and Compuware products over the past eighteen months. We are delighted to be so highly regarded in this dynamic and fast-growing market."
Gerhard Kastl, Leader, Test Center, at the Bavarian State Tax Office, Micro Focus customer says, "Micro Focus seems to truly understand the needs of QA professionals. We have invested in a range of Silk products which have allowed us to load test our business critical applications, identifying and eliminating potential bottlenecks which could occur during periods of peak demand."
