Four Soft wins UGL contract for freight application

Bangalore: Four Soft, a company that provides software solutions and IT consultancy services has been selected by Unique Global Logistics (UGL) for its freight forwarding application 4S eTrans. This web centric freight management system will be implemented across multiple locations of UGL. Pavithran M Kallada, Managing Director, Unique Global Logistics said, "Scaling up of IT operation is critical to our success in scaling up our business operations. We are confident that implementation of Four Soft's 4S eTrans will support us in realizing our ambitions. The ability to take this solution live in a short time span contributed to the decision." Four Soft's 4S eTrans is designed to provide UGL with operational and financial control over their day to day, order to cash process of the domestic and international freight movements. Equipped with an integrated freight accounting module and interface capabilities with external accounting systems, 4S eTrans will provide UGL a scalable and flexible freight management solution. This system is capable of handling air, sea, road and multi modal transport services. Built on J2EE platform with a native browser interface, it can work across multiple companies, branches and departments and helps in giving the hierarchical control over the operations and management control over accounts and reports.
