New Delhi: Fly Mobile has announced the launch and availability of Fly LINKZ E145, a messaging and social networking full touch dual-SIM phone. Fly LINKZ is targeted at youth in the age bracket of 18-35 living in metros and mini metros who prefer to chat and network with friends on the go. According to Prem Kumar, Chief Executive Officer (India Operations), Fly Mobile, "Buoyed by the success of Fly Circle (B430 DS), our first all-in-one instant messaging and social networking phone, we decided to up the ante by launching a full touch edition for the urban youth who are more touch savvy. Earlier, with MC160 and E106, we had broken the touch phone price barrier. This is in perfect accordance with our philosophy of capturing not just the requirements but also the aspirations of the users through continuous consumer research and incorporating the feedback into our products as features." The phone supports Social networks and communities supported by the Nimbuzz application, which include Skype, Windows Live Messenger (MSN), GTalk, Yahoo!, AIM, MySpace, ICQ, and others. At the heart of Nimbuzz is the live contact list - an always-on, hyper-connected, dynamic address book, enhanced with "real-time-presence" showing at a glance who's online, offline, busy or away, their status messages, and social community activity. User can launch IM chat sessions, offline messaging, send photos / videos / music, voice messaging and various other communication and interactive features.
