BANGALORE: The U.S.-based Magma Design Automation Inc, a provider of semiconductor design software, has announced that five new intellectual property (IP) vendors have joined its MagmaTies programme to develop “Magma-Ready” IP.

Aragio Solutions, Arteris, Go2silicon, SiWave and Soft Mixed Signal have teamed up with Magma to provide solutions that would enable mutual customers to speed up through the semiconductor design and manufacturing processes.

Announcing this, Magma’s Vice-President of Foundry and IP relationships said, “ Magma and its partners are creating a broad portfolio of IP products to enable our customers to tackle next-generation System-on-Chips (SoC) designs fast.”

At present the program has 15 IP providers. Through it, Magma and MagmaTies members will work together to qualify tool interfaces, libraries and foundry processes for use with Magma's software.
