After serving Idea Cellular for more than eight years, Pradeep Srivastava had to resign from the company due to sexual harassment complaint. Pradeep was the Chief Marketing Officer of Idea Cellular, when he resigned from the company.

Anvitha Prabhakara, one of the assistant managers from Idea Cellular filed a complaint against Pradeep in 2010. Anvitha, who was 25 years younger than Pradeep reported that the CMO sent her dozens of inappropriate messages in indecent contents.

The victim even produced the print-out of all the messages, Pradeep sent her. However, the evidences were not considered strong enough to declare Pradeep as the real convict and the court ordered for a new investigation. Pradeep later decided to step down from the company and later joined Videocon.

Pradeep maintained pin drop silence regarding the questions from the press and the media.
