Facebook to introduce virtual currency to the Indian subscribers

Bangalore: The new payment system called Facebook credits will be introduced in India. This is a virtual currency which can be used for transaction while playing games and other applications on Facebook. The second life games on Facebook has been in so much demand, especially the zynga's application Farmville which has brought many people together and sign up with Facebook. This addictive game was not just the end. Many other games like mafia wars, Cityville, and Petville have also created huge demand among people. This virtual money can be a great benefit for thousands on brands on Facebook so sell their products through pages. Deb Liu, the Platform Marketing Manager at Facebook wrote on the company's official blog that there are 350 applications from 150 developers who use Facebook credits and it represents more than 70 percent of the transaction volume. The developers can offer special incentives to product features, promotions on Facebook, premium for ads to their developers who amalgamate the system in their apps. Application Developers like Zynga, Playfish, Digital Chocolate and Pop Cap have affiliation with Facebook credits for game's virtual goods. Developers have their eye on the Facebook payment systems and have a check on the international growth as people are not reluctant about using Facebook credits and Facebook also involves in solving the customer problems. Facebook deals with all the complicated terms of accommodating and aggregating the payments so the application developers are not facing any hardship.
