FCG Soft sets up center for Witness Systems

BANGALORE:Bangalore based FCG software Services has set up a dedicated development center in Bangalore for the Nasdaq listed Witness systems to carry out product development and test operations.
Ed Murray, Development Vice President of Witness Systems said the company will move product development and testing operations for two of its product lines to Bangalore. Witness Systems is a provider of performance optimization software for the call center industry.
Managing Director of FCG India Avinash C. Agarwal said the company has hired about 100 professionals for the Witness center and will hire another 20 professional.
While 50 professionals will be working on product development, the rest will on testing, Murray said adding the center will develop and support Witness products, he said adding that India has also emerged as a key market for Witness products.
