Evergrid secures $10 M in Series B

B.J. Arun and Srinidhi Varadarajan- founded Evergrid, a provider of resource management software for data centers, has secured $10 million Series B financing to bring its product to the market. The round was led by Menlo Ventures. The privately held company was founded in 2004 and is funded by Acartha Group. Evergrid is a spin-off of California Digital, a company that created two of the highest performance supercomputers in the world (now at #14 and #28 on the Top 500 list). Evergrid's leadership team brings extensive management and technology expertise from IBM, Amdahl, VERITAS, Motorola, Tandem Computers and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Evergrid is a provider of application service management software for datacenters. It is a privately held company, headquartered in Fremont, California, with additional facilities in Virginia and India.
