European software development centre in Belfast

New Delhi: L & T Infotech plans to set up a European software development and maintenance center in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI) supports this investment and would produce 85 jobs, by next year. According to Alastair Hamilton, Chief Executive of Invest NI, said, "L&T Infotech is now the latest globally respected IT company to choose Northern Ireland as the location from which to expand international operations." Situated in the Northern Ireland Science Park, the Belfast Centre will help L & T Infotech to improve and develop work for the company's services and products. Sudip Banerjee, Chief Executive Officer, L&T Infotech, said, "We are delighted to be in Northern Ireland and value the support and encouragement we have received from Invest NI." The new center will help in supplying a large number of talented people who have an impressive track record in conducive business and use it in favor of global need. Belfast being the 2nd popular city for inward investment in the UK proves it's worth as the base for IT infrastructure.
