Bernice Madigan:

World’s fourth oldest living person, the third oldest living American and the oldest living resident of Massachusetts, Bernice Madigan is 114 years old. She is among the 100 verified oldest people ever. She has worked as a secretary for veteran’s administration in Washington D.C. and later in Treasury department.

She is known as ‘Aunt Bennie’ among all. She never had a child but everyone present around her is her family. Being 114 years old she still doesn’t take any medicine. She gives credit to her family and friends for her long life.

Emma Morano:

The fifth oldest living person, second oldest Italian and the first oldest living Italian and European Emma is one among the 100 verified oldest people ever. Living a long life is her family’s habit, as one of her sister lived for 102 years and her mother and some aunts lived for more than 90 years.  She had a child which died within six months of birth.

She worked until 75 and is now taking care of her house and herself autonomously. She received award, the honor of Knight of Order of Merit of the Italy Republic by the President of Italy. She still does her household work. Her long life’s secret is that she never had drugs, still eats three eggs a day and drinks a glass of homemade brandy.
