BANGALORE: EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), a provider of networked storage solutions, announced today that T Srinivasan, its Country Manager in India since 2000, has resigned from its subsidiary, EMC India and will continue his responsibilities until his replacement has been found.

"India is one of the fastest growing storage markets in Asia Pacific for EMC, and we will continue to invest in the best talents and storage solutions," said Steve Coad, General Manager for South Asia,

Srinivasan, who is leaving EMC for personal reasons, said, "My stint at EMC India has been extremely challenging and satisfying. Building EMC India from scratch and establishing the brand and its capabilities to address business issues of customers has been very fulfilling."

EMC is in the process of appointing his successor and will announce the new country manager in due course. During this transition period, all business operations and activities continue to function as usual. When the new country manager is appointed, EMC India will be relocating its Sales Operations from Bangalore to New Delhi, to take advantage of market dynamics.
