Digital GlobalSoft Q2 net down by 4.12%

Digital GlobalSoft Ltd (DGL) has registered a marginal decline of 4.12 per cent in net profit at Rs 21.37 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 22.29 crore in the same period of previous year.

MUMBAI: Total income for the reporting quarter stood at Rs 97.91 crore as against Rs 83.58 crore in the Q2 of 2001, DGL informed the Bombay Stock Exchange here on Tuesday. During the half-year ended September 30, 2002, the global merger between Compaq Computer Corporation, U.S.A. and Hewlett Packard, U.S.A., got consummated and Digital Globalsoft therefore has become a subsidiary of the Hewlett Packard Co., U.S.A The performance for second-half for the fiscal is expected to be stronger than the first half.
