Despite recession, Bangalore's biggest event for startups is here
Bangalore: After the phenomenal success of the last year's event, siliconindia Startup City is back again. This exciting event will be held in Bangalore, India on June 6, 2009.

Siliconindia Startup City is an exclusive business forum for entrepreneurs and VCs to meet, review ideas and learn about the process of venture funding. A similar conference held last year attracted more than 30 investors, venture capitalists, 50 Startups, 300 entrepreneurs and 4000 delegates.

At the event, over a 100 most promising private ventures from across India will be present. Several founders, CEOs, investors and corporate strategists from public companies will be attending this event. This is undoubtedly the biggest event for startups.

Already a total of 45 companies and nearly 40 venture capitalists have confirmed their participation.

Siliconindia has also lined up interesting set of panels wherein VCs will discuss about investment trends, strategies for investing in early stage ventures, strategies on how to find and access capital, what they look for in early stage companies, the kinds of companies they find most attractive, and the do's and don'ts in structuring deals. There will be special panels on late stage funding and strategic investments too.

This is undoubtedly the biggest event for startups. There's no better way to get a good sense of the issues and opportunities these Startups are facing than by hearing their CEOs outline their plans.
