Deere & Co outsourcing unit in Pune

PUNE: One of the worldÂ’s largest infrastructure and agriculture machinery maker, John Deere & Co is setting up a outsourcing and R&D center in Pune, that is expected to start functioning in six months.
According to reports the Illinois $20 billion Deere & Co, which has a presence in India in the tractor segment will spend around $15 million for the center.
To begin with the company will employ 500 people to provide information technology and engineering testing services for Deere & Company's global operations.
