Bangalore: Dax Networks, one of the top three networking companies in India, has executed a nationwide networking project for CAMS (Computer Age Management Services), a provider of Transaction Processing and Customer Care services to the Mutual Funds industry. Under this project, Dax's routing solutions have been deployed across the country in over 140 Investor Service Centres of CAMS that are connected in real time to the back office in Chennai. Commenting on the completion of this project, Ms. Sudha Jagadish, COO, Dax Networks, said, "The CAMS project is yet another feather in Dax's cap. The company has served the Indian market for over 20 years and provided mission critical solutions to the companies like NSE, LIC, BSNL, AAI and Southern Railways." Elaborating on the execution of the project, Ms. Subashini Prabhakar, Chief Technology Manager, Dax Networks, said, "Following our highly structured pilot run, the implementation went through smoothly. We have multi service provider termination and hot standby option across 2 routers in each center. As CAMS is expanding with additional bandwidth between its data center and disaster recovery site, we have started implementing 10G backbone bandwidth termination using our Layer 3 switch, DX-0524GT, between these sites." As the next phase of the project, Dax will be implementing WAN solution for an additional 75 locations this month.
