Cognizant in a multi-million deal with Kimberly-Clark

Chennai: IT services provider Cognizant announced that it has signed a five- year contract with outsourcing provider Kimberly-Clark group. However, the size of the deal has not been disclosed yet. Along with this deal, Cognizant announced opening operations in Latin America.
The agreement has an initial term of five years with a one-year extension options. It covers an array of SAP and customized software applications, including strategic planning and product management.
Cognizant will deliver a broad range of IT services to Kimberly Clark across various locations in North America, Europe, Indian and Latin America. It will also leverage its relationship with SAP in delivering global SAP application projects.
President and MD of Cognizant noted that this deal is the first of its kind by a major consumer products firm to a full application outsourcing.
