Chapter Closed: Microsoft Is Not Buying Nokia!

Though Nokia now is placed at third position in global Smartphone market, replacing Blackberry, it just powers 3 percent of the Smartphones shipped world wide, while android rules with 75 percent, according to IDC, a market animalist group.

So even if Microsoft which wants to become manufacturers of their own devices, like surface tablet, the question bothering the market analysts is whether it will help the software giant to get its traction in to hardware by buying ailing Nokia.

And, Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei's consumer business group, at the launch of Ascend P6 Smartphone in London, said that, if Nokia is willing, the company is open to acquire it.

In the past there were also reports about Intel, Lenovo, and others in race to buy Nokia. However, the fate of Nokia being acquired by any of the mentioned companies remains unclear yet.
