Car of the Week: Mahindra Quanto


Exterior:

The new SUV comes with a robust front fascia, side body claddings, stylish rear stepney and sporty roof rails. What makes it ideal for city traffic is its 4m length. With its compact dimensions, 180mm ground clearance and tight turning radius (5.4m), this family car offers good maneuverability. It has unique blackened pillars that make it a style quotient and the signature Mahindra front grille adds to its classy as well as aggressive look. Other than in the base model, Quanto C4, C6 and C8 comes with wheel covers, side and rear footsteps and tinted glass. Mahindra offers its Quanto in 6 different color variants, such as Rocky Beige, Mist Silver, Java Brown, Fiery Black, Toreador Red and Diamond White.

Interior:

The spacious interior of this 4-meter car offers comfort and 5 + 2 seating. The car’s third row, when not in use, can be fold to make more space. The interior is splendid with two lamps and a floor console, adding to the theatre theme. It offers power and tilt steering, moreover the C6 and C8 variants having a Digital Drive Assist System (DDAS) with Topper pad. It also offers, bottle holders, Magazine pockets, mobile charging points, foldable snack tray, under seat storage (driver seat), utility box etc. Fabricated seats come up with adjustable headrests.

Price:

Mahindra Quanto, the smarter SUV from the veterans was launched at a base price of 5.99 lakh and the showroom prices of the different variants in Delhi are 5,99,763 (C2),  6,53,612 (C4), 7,05,573 (C6), and 7,57,323 (C8). In Mumbai the prices are 5,81,882 (C2),  6,34,674 (C4), 6,85,660 (C6), and 7,36,440 (C8); where as in Chennai, it is 6,11,774, 6,66,579, 7,19,464 and 7,72,134 respectively. In Bangalore, the prices are 6,08,910, 6,63,715, 7,16,601 and 7,69,271 for the respective variants.
