Initially the Chevrolet Sail is introduced in sedan body type with 1.2 and 1.4 litre engines and the hatchback model will follow. It will be available in different colours.

Exteriors

Chevrolet Sail is has the trademark horizontal split grille with Chevrolet logo in the middle. To achieve three dimensional look, it has been give three muscular sidelines. The streamlined shape of the vehicle adds a dynamic styling element and also reduces drag for lower fuel consumption.

Interiors

Inside, the sedan has a twin-cockpit design; wonderful looking central control panel that comes loaded with CD/MP3 player and a radio. Five passengers can be easily accommodated inside the sporty looking car including the driver. It also includes dual air bags in front, child safety locks, retractable steering column, child seat system antilock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and steel frame surrounds the fuel tanks.

Mileage

The petrol Chevrolet Sail sedan with its powerful 1.4L petrol power train will offer a mileage of 12-13 kmpl on city roads whereas on the highways it will mark 16-17 kmpl. On the other hand, the 1.3L diesel engine will provide nearly 15-16 kmpl in city traffic and 19-20 kmpl on smooth highways.

Price

The 4 variant in 1.2 litre petrol version will be available between Rs 4.52 lakh and Rs 5.68 lakh and three options in 1.3 litre diesel between Rs 5.97 lakh and Rs 6.74 lakh.
