BANGALORE: France based IT services company, Capgemini plans to double its headcount in India to 10,000 by the end of next year and is looking at three more cities in the country, a top company executive said here today. "We are around 5,000 (in India now). The target is to be 10,000 before the end of next year. It's doubling in 14-16 months," Capgemini Global BPO Services CEO Hubert Giraud said. Giraud also said the firm is looking at tier-II and tier-III cities in India to start three more new centers in India. "We are exploring several options," he said. Capgemini presently has operation in three cities- Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata where its engineers are working on a full spectrum of software development, outsourcing, application management and BPO services to its global clients out of India.
